

If you know these guys at all, then you can just imagine the
tales being told! Probably the best entertainment around.
Let me just say that the conference/seminar business is out of hand this Spring (although I cannot complain that there is nothing going on around campus!). Four in three weekends (the last three local, but still...it's been a bit of a marathon). And then, of course, there was the exhibit opening for one of my students (who did just a beautiful job in terms of concept development, writing, fabrication, the whole bit). Thank you MP1 for loaning me your apartment key and oven yesterday afternoon so I could keep the pot stickers and eggrolls warm until the reception--sterno and chafing dishes will keep things hot for an hour or so, but not for 3--so thank you, thank you, thank you.

I took this photo at a cafe this morning, I thought it was more interesting than my (otherwise delicious) Turkish breakfast. I guess I'd better get some reading and grading done now. Too bad, cause it's a gorgeous day outside and I really do not want to read anthropology (real or imagined).
