Our house has been baby shower central this semester. I don't think I posted any pics from C's baby shower of a month or so ago (faculty, friends, and family), but you can find her below with baby tucked away in moby wrap. HL's invitation list included a combo of faculty and current and former students (grad and undergrad)--some of whom I've clearly known for waaaay too long as they felt perfectly free to turn my house into margarita-ville complete with hilarious (h.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s) life-size mariachi band window coverings (and why has none of you sent me a photo of them? I know you've got one). It was a very fun; MFW and CD know how to throw a party. Homemade tacos, guacamole and chips, margaritas and a CHOCOLATE fountain. Seriously indulgent afternoon. HL took home some very cute little baby girl clothes and other infant necessities (it is her first--she needs everything).
A few of the guests.
I don't know any of these people.
H unwrapping a present from B (on the R.), her graduate advisor.
IM, who made the 4 hour round-trip drive, brought a bottomless bag of baby-girl clothes. I suspect baby fever, here. We shall see, eh?
What can I say about these two?

Great parties both! Thanks for tossing them and opening your home/house -- it is always relaxing and fun. Those mariachi boyz were CUTE!
