Our search closed last week. Now, we may have a few more applications trickle in on Monday or Tuesday that bear an okay (last week's) postmark, but it won't be too many. Despite our early deadline, we have received more than 80 applications thus far (about 6 didn't meet minimum quals). I think that is more than we had last year for this same search, which ended in mid December (I'll have to check my files--but I'm pretty sure it is more).
I read them all today. Between 9 am and 6 pm.
Some good, some bad, some make me want to rip my hair out.
